Welcome to Refine Dermatology, a family owned and operated dermatology practice that is focused on improving the health of its patients while using a hospitable approach.

At the head of our team is Dr. Jill Salyards, a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. After working for larger, corporate owned practices for a few years, she realized her desire to have her own practice that makes the care and experience of the patient the priority, not the profit margin.

Her husband, Andy Salyards, has spent the last decade starting and operating restaurants and has constantly wondered why doctors offices aren’t more hospitable and focused on the patients' experience.

They decided to take the leap and open Refine Dermatology to allow people a local option for their dermatology care where patients are confident that they will see a doctor at their visit and will be treated with kindness and respect; nothing less.
