What Are Injectables?

Injectables, or cosmetic injections, are minimally invasive procedures where substances are injected into the skin to alter the physical appearance. These can be used to help reduce signs of aging by improving the appearance of wrinkles and addressing volume loss.

There are 2 main types of injectables including neurotoxins and dermal fillers. Neurotoxins are used to treat lines created by facial expressions such as frown lines, forehead lines and crows feet. Dermal fillers are gel-like substances used to re-volumize the face, enhance facial contours and smooth lines. They are commonly used to enhance the cheeks and jawline, add volume to the lips and treat lines around the mouth and nasolabial area.
